Why do we need donations?

Our workers’ time, experience, and commitment come free, as they rebuild the Wendover Canal, but the plant and materials they use have to be hired or bought. Since the work began, over £850,000 has been spent restoring the canal for boaters and nature.  The majority of the money has been raised by Trust members and donated by supportive partners including local Inland Waterway Association Branches.   

We do not receive any Government Grants so we are naturally delighted for whatever amount you feel able to give. And if you are a UK taxpayer, and you are willing to Gift Aid, then we can benefit further. Please check the Gift Aid box below your gift amount to enable us to claim this from HMRC.
